Halifax, NS--The Board of Directors of Trade Centre Limited (TCL) is pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Ferguson as President & CEO, effective immediately. Previously, he was appointed Interim President & CEO by the board in April, having held the Executive Vice President position prior to that appointment.
"The board feels extremely confident in its choice of Scott as leader for this important organization," said George Moody, Acting Chair, TCL Board of Directors. "Scott’s performance with TCL over the past 24 years has clearly shown his dedication to this city and to the economic prosperity of the province. He is, without a doubt, the most qualified person I know to guide this organization with vision, enthusiasm and passion for building partnerships that move us all forward together as Nova Scotians."

He has also been working on behalf of TCL in support of the Province of Nova Scotia and Halifax Regional Municipality on the potential redevelopment of a new convention centre.
