CITT (Canadian Institute for Theatre Technology) is a national arts service organisation that actively promotes the professional development of its members and works for the betterment of the Canadian live performance community.

CITT connects the Canadian Live Performance Community and serves:

• Technicians and Craftspeople
• Managers
• Designers
• Educators and Students
• Theatre Consultants and Architects
• Suppliers and Manufacturers

CITT provides unique opportunities to its members to communicate, network and expand their knowledge and skills through workshops, conferences, electronic forums, and publications in the areas of technology, management, design, architecture and education for live performance in Canada.

CITT/ICTS Rendez-vous 2010
CITT holds its annual National Conference every Mid-August. The location varies from year to year to allow members from different regions of Canada to more easily attend.

The Conference is held over three days - from Thursday to Saturday. The conference offers full days of seminars, workshops and social events, with more intense certification programs and Masterclass workshops held 2 days prior to the Conference. An industry trade show is featured where CITT Corporate members present new products and technologies to the attendees.

The Annual Conference is also the occasion for the Annual General Meeting of the members and of the Awards Banquet where CITT honours those individuals and companies who have excelled in their field of live performance in Canada.
