For the past two decades, Justin McDonough has been employed in the financial planning industry. Currently, he is Partner and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) with Matthews McDonough Financial Planning Inc.
Justin received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario and has since earned his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation; Chartered Financial Consultant (Ch.F.C) designation; and Elder Planning Counselor (EPC) designation.
Justin is an avid tennis and squash player and when not on the courts, he can often be found helping out his community. He currently serves on the board of the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia, Holiday on the Harbour Charity Ball and the Citadel Theatre Society and the Halifax Estate Planning Council. He is also active in his community having served on the St. Andrews Church Board of Trustees, Halifax Estate Planning Council and many other fundraising, sporting, non-profit community initiatives.
Justin is married to Heather and has 4 children.
