Controller, Canadian Gold Seafood Company

Cheryl Newcombe is the Controller at Canadian Gold Seafood Company in Enfield, Nova Scotia. Cheryl received her Bachelor of Science degree at Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax and later continued her education at the University of Guelph in Ontario, where she earned her Masters of Science degree.  Since then, she has obtained her Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation in 1982 and Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) designation in 2008. 
 
An active member in her community, Cheryl volunteers her time as a board member for a number of organizations.  She has served on the board for the Halifax Regional Water Commission in a number of positions and is currently a member of the Human Resource Association of Nova Scotia; Lakeview, Windsor Junction, Fall River Rate Payers Association; HRM Regional Plan Advisory Committee; Beacon House Interfaith Food Bank Society and the Halifax Stanfield International Airport Authority.   Cheryl also serves as Program Coordinator at her local community centre, Windsor Junction Community Centre
